The Tip Run... oops

Posted by Site Editor on June 12, 2018 at 2:45 PM Comments comments (0)

Hi Everyone,

We would like to thank Lisa Burrows for a donation of £30.00 plus Gift aid, which gives the charity a very welcome small bonus.

Lisa has set aside some items for the Charity and her partner Andy, who unfortunately had decided to do his own tidying up and he mistakenly took the donation to the tip...oops

Realising the error of his ways, Andy volunteered to make a cash donation, as you do…to make up what might have been the shortfall.

So many thanks for persevering with the donation, and the additional Gift Aid contribution which does make a significant difference to the overall donation to the charity,

Many thanks Lisa for your ongoing support for our Charity.

Hi Everyone,

We are very pleased to announce that the new chairs we purchased for the Georgina ward have now arrived.

New chairs delivered on day case ward.

Velora Thomas shift lead for day case informed Ros & Pauline they had been well received by the patients saying how comfortable they were allowing patients to sit or lie as necessary whilst receiving treatment.

We hope that these give greater comfort to the patients and assist the members of staff on the unit in undertaking their daily duties whilst treating our families and friends.

Many thanks to everyone involved in getting these chairs onto the ward.

Hi Everyone,

As we get older we think the Police officers get younger, strange concept to grasp no doubt.

We are very pleased to inform you that charity fundraisers also are starting at a very young age.

Here we have Rebecca Clorley receiving her certificate from the chairman Lee Jenkins as a

fundraising thank you for giving her time for something she did off her own volition with no help from anyone.

What an amazing act of kindness and selflessness and Rebecca is a great example to us all.

Many thanks Rebecca,
